Low Poly
Low Poly is a minimalist 3D design style defined by its use of a reduced number of polygons—such as triangles and flat faces—rather than smooth curves. Although it originated in the 1990s out of pure technical necessity for early 3D video games, it has since evolved into a deliberate, retro-futuristic artistic movement. Visually, it stands out through clean geometric lines, flat shading, and sharp lighting contrasts that together create a distinct and nostalgic identity.
Retro Game
Retro Is a distinct retro style defined by a strict, monochromatic palette of just four shades of green (historically known as the DMG green screen). Because the hardware could not display smooth color gradients or a wide range of colors, artists had to rely purely on luminance contrasts to create depth, characters, and environments. A key technique of this era was dithering, which used alternating patterns of dark and light pixels—resembling checkerboards—to simulate shades of gray and subtle textures. Built entirely within a tight pixel grid, this style required extreme design economy and synthesis, transforming hardware limitations into an iconic, timeless aesthetic.
